The remains of a garden and greenhouse complex where Nazi monster Adolf Hitler grew fruit and veg has been discovered at his eastern WWII HQ.
Local historians exploring the Fuhrer’s notorious Wolf’s Lair bunker have uncovered the original foundations of a gardener’s house, two greenhouses and an underground boiler room that supplied water and warm air so staff could cultivate fresh garden produce all year round.
Describing the find as 'the banality of evil', historian Jacek Adamski from the Mazurian Military Museum Mazurolandia said the location, in what was formerly East Prussia, is just half a mile away from where Hitler had his personal bunker.
